Designer XI Problem with Dates

Post Author: bo_user1

CA Forum: Semantic Layer and Data Connectivity

Trying to create a list of values for a date object.

Object is a regular date with nothing fancy stored in an Oracle 10g database.

the select is just the field. no functions or anything.

after creating the object, saving the universe then reopening the

object. enabling "Associate a List of Values." checkbox and clicking

display -> refresh. I keep getting the error message:

Error during SQL execution: (DA0003)

Exception: DBD, ORA-01843: not a valid month

State: N/A

Attempted to create the same object on other machines and had the same error.

Tried using to_date and to_char functions to no avail.

Thanks!

I have encountered the same error. Did you find the solution?
