Obtain content of a cell in a crosstab

Hi Friends,

Is there some way to obtain the value of a particular cell in a crosstab using a function or some other means while the report is being rendered. We have a particular requirement where in we need to pass the value of a particular cell as a parameter to the linked report.

So for instance if cell (row:1, column:1) has the specific value, how can that value be obtained to pass to the linked report.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
