Hi All,

Just publishing another quick question hopefully someone can answer this (still awaiting AN answer to my first posting regarding XIR2 Severs).

Is WebI, when running through XIR2 available to everyone who has the correct link to the documents set up, i.e. is it a tool for just viewing reports (and refreshing) or do they have to be set up through the CMC ?

Cheers.

Firstlink,

The answer to your question is it depends on your method of how users authenticate. If they authenticate through single-sign-on (SSO), and SSO has been properly configured, then they will authenticate "under the wire" and as long as the SSO connections for the user coming in has a path to the application your good to go. On the other hand, using Enterprise authentication will require either opening up the "guest" account, which will provide generic authentication, or individual accounts, which will require an admin entering individual user names, etc via CMC.
