Limit query execution time in Database

Hi,

I would like to limit the time a query runs from WebIntelligence within the database. I have already updated the Universe Parameter Controls "Limit execution time to" to be 10 minutes. However, when I execute a complex query, the query keeps running in database. I have to kill it manually in database everytime. How can this be avoided and not let the query run in Database after particular time?
