Another way to describe section and break is as follows:
A "section" breaks the data in to seperate groups that wil have seperate cell blocks.
A "break" keeps all the contents together in the same cell block but allows the user to create a hirearchy within the block.

A section and a break are pretty much the same in data processing terms. However, in Business Objects, a section is a bit more fancier than a break in two regards: 1) the object that you make as a section "separates" from the grid; 2) the section is now eligible to become an item within your Map. If you merely set a break on an object it remains in the grid and it does not become an item within your Map.
I'm sure that others on this board can point out further delineations, but I''ve list a couple of obvious ones to give us a start.
