Transferring WebIntelligence Reports Between Installations

Hi All,

We have report developers building a number of canned reports in Web Intelligence in our development environment. What we want to be able to do is take these reports and the universe associated with them and copy/export/transfer them to our UAT and the Production environments.

At this stage I haven't managed to find a way to export the WebI documents and copy them to another installation?

Anyone have any ideas on how to do this?

You have to use a BusObjects feature called "BIAR" (Business Intelligence Archive Resource) file. To get more info recommend you go to the BusObjects support site (http://technicalsupport.businessobjects.com/KanisaSupportSite/supportcentral/supportcentral.do?id=m1&searchMode=ExpertSearch) and search on BIAR and toggle the prompts to key in on the XI R2 product.
