excel database source logon userid password

I was trying to develop a report using Crystal Reports 10 with an Excel file as the data source. The Excel file was saved on a network folder. When I ran it in Crystal Reports, it completed successfully. Now I want to schedule it in Crystal Management Console. What's the logon for this Excel file? I tried to use my network logon for it, but it seemed it didn't work. What should the logon for the Excel file be?

Also I tried to create an ODBC with excel file, it have the same problem, I tried blank user/password, admin/blank, no one works.

I search on the internet and business object website and cannot find the answer.

I feel so frustrated about looking for help for crystal report.

I use OLEDB microsoft jet 4.0 to create the data source, it seems working, but I need to find time to go back to that project later.

I'm having the same issue and have spent over an hour looking thru help and documentation. Have you been able to figure it out?
