Sum of adds all suppressed values

CA Forum: Crystal Reports

I am suppressing duplicate values for a field, but the "sum of" of the same field is adding all the duplicate values. How can i prevent Cr 10 from adding all the dupliates? so if the dupliate values were 30, 30, 30, 30 and 25, 25, 25, 25 crystal report displays only 30 and 25 but the summary field calculates 220 instead of 55.
