Hi, I need to build a pdf report by using Crystal report which including several subreport. The problem is that the primary page orientation is portrait and some subreports' orientation is landscape. I cannot find a way to set subreports' orientation in Crystal report. Is there an solution for this problem? Thanks in advance!

There is no solution within Crystal itself. You can trigger the functionality I described earlier via a command line api (e.g., from your Java app).

Thank you for your reply. But I need a java solution. So there is no solution for this problem in Crystal report itself, is right? Any help?

Can't be done with just Crystal because subreports can't have different page orientations tahn the main report. Consider a 3rd-party tool as a alternative (for a list of such tools, see http://www.kenhamady.com/bookmarks.html)My Visual CUT

software allows you to automate the process of exporting several

reports to pdf (each can have a different page orientation) and then merging the pdf files (using the PDF_Merge

command line argument), and emailing/printing the resulting merged file. There

are also several other useful options such as adding a bookmark for

each merged file, merging existing bookmarks, adding page numbers and a table of contents, and password protection.
