Check which server node you logged in

Hi All,

We have NW 7.5 Java system in our landscape and it has two server nodes.

We want to know how can I check which server node I logged in.

I can find that upto NW 7.1 we can use URL - javascript:alert(document.cookie); to see which server node we logged in but this does not work in latest release.

please suggest how can we check this in new releases.

    Dear Shivam,

I have just tested the function on an NW Java 7.5 environment and it works for me.

The javascript(document.cookie) url basically prompts you the value of the saplb_* and JSESSIONID cookies. You can get these session related information in other ways too. For example if you collect HTTP Watch trace the cookie tab will show you the saplb_* and JSESSIONID cookies, so you can identify which server you are connected to.

So this may be an alternative way for you to find this information.

    I hope it helps,

    Emoke
