Hai Friends,

I have checked in DEV Server There is no cost center in OKB9

And

No need to define cost center in OKB9

How i can Check in FS00 for that cost center in Edit cost element whether it is deifned as a Default cost center and inform me Pls?

go to fs00 and click on edit cost element and in that select the third tab default setting

there u will find the defaut cost centre

Dear A.K.,

Genarally how will display Cost centers?We need to give manually or it's pick up automatically?

My problm is i have two documents cost center is not coming, The GL A/C is sales promotion.Pls can you explain me why it's not coming?

Hi,

While doing document entry, manually you need to enter the cost center. If it is assigned automatically, then only it will pickup otherwise it won't.

Try once again.

hello hari ,

u have to maintain another cost center with the same cost element in which the earlier cost center is assigned .

u will have to do this in okb9

ur prob will be solve

Hi Hari,

You can't check this from FS00, you can check whether assignment has been done or not from KA23 report.

I hope this clarifies.

Hi

I thnik the best way to assign cost center to cost element is to have substitution rule at line item level.

In KA03 cost elemnt can checked whether any cost center has been assigned as default ie which of course not a good practice

Hi,

For Sales there is no cost calculated but u can create a dummy cost center for sales

and assign the cost center to revenue elements.

For all the cost center assign the profit center.

Then assign the cost center and revenue in OKB9 and assign all GL accounts in 3KEH.

Execute the profit center then u get the P & L differences and balance sheet differences

if u want to maintain cost centre automatically then u have to maintain in OKB9.. for all other account the cost centre might be maintained there so it is coming

in OKB9 we have to maintain GL ACCOUNT wise then only it will pick up automatically

Hai A.K Good morning,

Your teeling in OKB9 settings we have maintained GL A/C 76400000 Sales Promotion in DEV System. While i am posting in F-02 here asking cost center manually & Here asking A/C 76400000 Requires an assignment to a CO objects?

PlZ i am n't able to understand this one help me out from this.

hi for that particular cost element (ur g/l) go for OKB9 uplz whether the costelemnt is ther other wise creat and tick PA check box .then come back.

I have checked In OKB9 also Cost element is there already...

My problm is in RV billing document type why it's n't populating cost center while i execute FS10N?

Do one thing gest take that particular gl account and go for field status area check wether the gl accont costcenter is supressed are not.

For document type wich posting key it was taking u go for OB41 t-code and check the field status ther also.

and let me back with other opstions
