    Hello SV Reddy,

According to our knowledge, this error message may indicate there is some problem connecting to the license

server. please check the following :

+How many NIC (network interface card) are available on the server, if more than one, please enable only

    1 card.

+please make sure the firewall (if there is any) is turned off on the license server.

    Kind Regards,

    Maggie Zheng

    Hi SV,

License Error 100000002 is usually generating a Time-out when connecting to the license server .

Some of the recommendations to solve it are :

Open the License Manager. Change the License Server from 'Local Host' to the IP Address of the License Server. Press Connect to update.

Restart the License Manager. Connect with a B1 client to the License Server.

    or

Stop the License Server on the Server Install the Server Tools on a client. Open the License Manager in the client. Change the License Server's IP Address/Local Host to the IP Address of License Server installed on the client. Press Connect.

Restart the License Server on the Client. Make a connection with a B1 client to the License Server. Close the B1 Client. Stop the License Server on the client.

Re-start the License Server on the Server. Change the IP address to the IP Address of the Server Again. Press Connect.

    Make a connection with a B1 client.

If still facing the error, it will be advisable to record the the login on event and analyse it.

    - Open command prompt (start > run > cmd) and run netstat -an 1 > C:\TraceLogin.txt.

    - With the command prompt up and running, login to B1

    - After the workstation is successfully logged in, stop the command netstat -an 1 > C:\TraceLogin.txt in the command prompt

    using Ctrl +C.

    - This will create in C: a text file called TraceLogin.txt

What to check in the file :

    - Look for the license server IP (it is the same domain/workgroup ? )

    - If having two network cards in the server ? It is the client machine trying to connect to the two cards ?

In any case, feel free to post your results and we will be happy to help you.

    Hi Reddy,

Have you been able to fix the problem? I'm actually on a project and I encountered the same problem on three (3) laptops out of the 32 client installations that was made. I presume your SAP Business One system is based on Microsoft SQL 2005. Here is what I did.

    1. Install Windows Installer 3.1.0.0 (If you don't have it installed)

    2. Install Microsoft SQL Server Native Client

You can get all these downloaded on the Microsoft Download page.
