I have searched and can't find the answer.

I don't think there is a direct way to insert a watermark in webi. There is a workaround.

You can insert a blank cell adjust the height and width of the cell to match the page setting. Go to format cell -> Background Image -> Select the image. Once the image appears in the cell, right click -> Order -> select the option "Send to back"

Hi Brad,

You can add an image to the page header, page body, or page footer section of the default CSS. For example, edit the

WebIDefaultStyleSheet.css as below. Your image should be stored in \Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\images\, the same location as the default CSS.

/* Settings for PAGE_BODY */
REPORT > PAGE_BODY {
background-color:#ffffff;
background-fill:bitmapAndColor;
min-height:1.40cm;
background-image: boimg://watermark.gif;
background-v-align: center; /* Possible values: top, center, bottom */
background-h-align: center; /* Possible values: left, center, right */

If you don't want this as the default for all new reports, create a separate CSS which you can selectively apply under Document Summary > Edit> Change Default Style... Import Style... Another option would be under Format Report... > Appearance and apply a skin or image there.

Regards, DC
