Using the filter to restrict removes the column associated with the filter

Hello,

I noticed that after i run a query and use the filters the column I filter on no longer displays on the report. Why is this happening and what can i do to show these even when we filter on them? The user needs to still see those columsn and their values.

No solution other than to use the select filter value which you can do by right clicking on the cell you wnat to select.

hi ,

In place of using filter you can restrict by row or columns .

Filter will restrict ,but that row will not appear.

Filter will restrict the whole query .

Restriction for only one particular row.

Hello,

If you place any InfoObject in FILTER,(Global Filter) those InfoObject will not be seen in the Query but the query will be filtered based on its value. So if you want to see them either put it in free chars or Row or column with restriction on it.

Thanks

Yes I know that will wokr but I am saying when you go to the filter button AFTER the report runs and selcet a filter value that colum disappears.
