Hi,
Our client had a call from HMRC saying that employees that transfer to pension from working should have the indicator 'occupational pension indicator' tick. As it is not being ticked HMRC thinks that the employee is still receiving wages when in fact he is receiving a pension. Can someone please tell me where I can find this box to tick?
Employees that transfer to pension from working should have the indicator 'occupational pension indicator' to be ticked? If yes where this indicator is available…
Generally in UK payroll, employee salary details will be sent to HMRC through FPS report. While sending the pensioner salary details to HMRC anything need to be maintained to identify employee is pensioner?
In SAP we perform Retirement action when employee moves from active to pensioner with changes in employee group, employee sub group, position, payroll area, cost center and instead of IT 8 amount will be maintained in IT 14 with wage type pension.
Apart from this need to mention somewhere to identify employee is pensioner while sending to HMRC? If not how they will identify this employee is pensioner?
Please let me know.
Regards
Sai
