"Get Support Link" Problem in sending email

Hi ,

This is my requirement : If the user forgot his password he will be able to reset on his own.

I followed these steps:

- configured SMTP (This is configured for Workflow previously so left the same)

- made the property ume.logon.logon.help as ' true ' .

- changed the SMTP host name in the UME configuration as ip address of the SMTP server (123.12.1.2)

- Restarted the J2EE server.

Now I am able to get the link and when i tried to reset the password it is displaying the message

<b>New password was assigned and sent by e-Mail</b>

But I am not recieving any mail from the portal.

I am able to telnet from portal server to mail server through port 25.

Kindly provide suggestions to solve this problem
