PA structure and allocation Struc Difference

Hi All,

Can anybody tell me the diff and the uses of PA structure and allocation structure in COPA.

How sender any rece values are picked, while we run the cycle.If possible with an example

PA transfer structure is used to transfer the values to COPA report , based on PA transfer structure you have to create the allocation structure for the receivers. PA transfer structure contains senders, receivers, value fields and which method you are using to send the values to copa value fields. Whenever you run the KEU5 system picks the data from sender as your mentioned in PA transfer structure and it transfer the values to value fields of COPA.

Can u be bit elaborate....as i am new in COPA.

U have not given any details abt the allocation structure.My doubt is that when we are assigning the PA and the allocation structure in cycle (KUE1),then what is the requiremnt to fill the the sender cost center and cost element in cycle (KEU1).what will happen if i won't fill those details in the cycle.

How the system will pick the value.

If i am assinging A cost center in PA and Allocation structure and B in KEU1 Sender tab,which one the system will take into consediration.

Pts will be assigned .
