MB01 - How to Receive multiple items with One GR

I am trying to find a simpler way to receive in two items in MB01. Currently I receive them in one at a time, and get 2 different GRs and 2 different Batch #s. Is there a way to combine the quantity, split it and get 2 different batch #s all on one GR?

Hi,

Instead of wasting time in checking the options in the obsolete MB0A transaction, I would suggest to use the direct functionality in MIGO which will allow to distribute quantity to different batches as required.

You can processed this in MB01 although is it replaced by MIGO, In MB01 click Purchase Order button and enter the purchase order number the default number you can enter is 4 PO's, but if you need to process more than that you may enter and repeat same process.Once you save this you can generate one GR at a time.

No, i don't think so, it is possible in MB01, as it only allow one PO per entry.

MB01 was already replaced with MIGO in the beginning of this century and will completely go away with S4HANA, time to change.

MIGO can do what you want. There is an icon with arrows to all directions (some call it snowflake) to distribute 1 item into several batches.

You can as well post a receipt to several purchase orders at the same time, you only need to enter the PO number on top , then press enter and enter the next PO number. you will get one receipt with several item lines.
