Depreciation Error

hi all,

There is an error when processing the AFAB and the depreciation expenses in the GL is not recorded.

Could you pls help me for this case.

have you done OBA7 to create Doc Type for Depn Posting

AF and number range 04.because until this is in place depn entry would not be posted in GL.

Dear Denial,

i thing you are trying to run the Dep. in for groud it's not the way to run the Dep. with out test run

go to that TCode and fill all the details with out test run, in the top of the screen go to programe - execute back ground .

after that go sm37check the request status release that after that you can see the dep. values

actually there's no error log,

but the depreciation expense journal is not created after i run AFAB.

Are u able to see any amount in "Dep to be posted" column for any asset. ?

What is the error - message text or message number.. ?
