Process Order Confirmation with negative activity

Hi all

I'm trying to make a process order confirmation with a negative activity. I can do it when the amount of all confirmation is positive. But when the amount is negative, I can't do it

The error says:

Confirmed activity must not be smaller than 0 (check entry)

Message no. RU033

Diagnosis

You have tried to confirm a negative activity or to cancel a confirmation.

This results in a negative total confirmed quantity for this activity.

I'd like to know if I can make this error just warning trough customizing, or if I can make possible the negative amount for the activities

Hi,

Why you want to confirm a negative quantity?

Logically it is not possible and so as from system point of view.

Activity is some thing you do or perform for doing certain amount of work. At the time of order confirmation you confirms or fixes that activity duration. It is impossible to do certain work with time duration having negative value.Hence it is not possible

In old versions, applying the note 457702 was possible to do that. But now in 5.0 version, I can't.

So, I supose must be somewhere in customizing to permit that

Hi,

In higher version it is not possible.

Still you can write to SAP to find out whether there is any possibility or not.

But as per my knowledge there is no such way out.
