Embedded TM on Hana 1709 vs LE-TRA

Hello Experts....

I have a little doubt about Embedded TM on Hana 1709, below are my early questions :

1. On certain blog I found that LE-TRA will be obsolete by 2025, does it mean we can still use LE-TRA on Hana 1709 ? Is there a switch configuration to choose whether using Embedded TM or LE-TRA ?

2. We use NWBC to access Standalone TM. After it embedded on Hana 1709, can we access this TM via GUI or still use NWBC ?

Hi Budi,

Here are my answers:

1. There is no switch configuration, but from TM side you can do the configuration for Integration or not. If you do not configure the Integration with TM, the deliveries will not trigger anything in TM (Freight Units) and as consequence you will not use TM and can use the LE-TRA functionalities.

2. For TM in general you cannot use gui (except master data), but in embedded 1709 you also have Fiori Apps as an alternative to the NWBC which is still used in this Version.
