deletion of empty space in Dropdown by index

Hi,

i have adropdown with label state,iam able to populate all the values in to dropdown by using array list,but my problem is, as soon as clickon drop down an empty space is appearing that empty space is follwed by all the states(KARNATAKA,GOA,DELHI..)isthere and cardinality or selection problem,can u please expalin the code to remove that empty space..

change selection property from 0..1 to 1..n.

Change the selection cardinality of the node from 0..1 to 1..1
