Physical Inventory Update

Hi Experts,

Give ur Veiws on the following scenario-

we have to update sap system with a flat file created by a third party system. What Sap has to do is that it has to pick that file and update the physical inventory stock. and this should be scheduled in the back ground for every 15mins(example)

The flat file consists of Material code and physical qty.

Can any one suggest the process and what tables to be updated in sap system.

Regards

Pratap

It is unclear to me if you just want enter counts that were done with an external system

    or

if your idea is to keep stock in SAP, do movement in 3rd party software, and dont want to do the same movements in SAP again, instead just do adjustments to stocks.

For the first case see transaction MI34, MI38 and MIMD

At the selection screen of these transaction is a blue info button.

Read the documentation behind this button. It might give you some insight how to use it.
