Hi All, Confused with the new gui, I am not sure how to navigate to the Java SDK forum , I am posting it here, please route to the correct forum .

While moving reports from one folder to other public folder , the scheduling seems to be disturbed (We are on 4.1 SP6) . So , I am finding alternate ways like SDK to move folders and/or reports from one main public folder to other main public folders.

The only thing that should cause schedules to behave differently in another folder is if the inherited security is different.

Let's say I have Full Control access in a folder named "Stuff", and I schedule a report in that folder to run daily. It runs successfully for a period of time.

The report is then moved to the "Restricted" folder, in which I only have View permission. My schedule will then fail because it doesn't have appropriate permission.

If this is the cause of the issue you're facing, then the SDK would not be a solution -- you would simply need to ensure that the user who scheduled the reports have sufficient permission in the new folder.

If by "disturbed" you are referring to something other than security, then please elaborate.
