Client Copy from Productive SolMan to Sandbox SolMan - A couple of queries

Hi gurus,

Background:

In order to facilitate Training and testing of new functionalities in a hassle-free way, we have set up a Sandbox SolMan system by a one-time copy of Productive SolMan system.

The Productive SolMan being a system intesively used for ChaRM, Template Projects, Testing etc. we did not favour a case of dummy projects in the same system (and managing authorisations at Project Level etc.) and instead, took to this Sandbox approach.

Very few RFC connections are enabled in Sandbox and obviously, the enablement of anything extra is taken up on case by case basis.

Two Questions:

(1) Periodically, if we want to refresh one client in Sandbox with the Client Contents from Productive SolMan system, do you foresee any problems ?

This we want to do so that the trainees will get a more up-to-date feel of the productive system than having to use old contents

(2) In the Sandbox system, if we maintain two Clients so that one Client offers an unchanging base to experiment new things, while the other Client keeps getting refreshed from Productive SolMan on a weekly basis, do you foresee any issue?

Of course, the client independent tables/contents will get affected. Anything apart from that ?

Thanks for your patience in reading this and advanced thanks for your kind responses.

Warm regards,

Srini
