No print-relevant changes to document

when i am trying to print the sales order with scripts, i get the error message

"No print-relevant chnges to document 5500000131 exist" message no is me140

We actually have a custom program developed to print using f.m ME_READ_PO_FOR_PRINTING

Can some one tell me what could be the problem and solution for it..

sorry that was a smartform not a script... and the error is in the f.m ME_READ_PO_FOR_PRINTING
