SAP_CRM_UIU_SLS_PROFESSIONAL cannot create profile

Hi Experts

The standard sap role SAP_CRM_UIU_SLS_PROFESSIONAL is not allowing to create a profile using pfcg . while trying to create the profile , we are getting the error

entered in the profile

Does we actually have to create the profile or just assign that role to the user using su01 . I am asking this because if I take in pfcg the authorization tab is seen in red.

this is the case on crm 5.2 and crm 2007 . Can you give some tips on this or check with your system and compare and let me know.

Hi Sahad,

You can copy the standard SLS pfcg role to a z-role and assign your user id in the USER tab. I guess that would solve your issue.

Hi Harish

I copied that standard role to z_ and even after that not able to create a profile. I did assign the users to the standard role, but my question is does we need to create profile and do the user master comparison for the roles to be actually assigned to the user since I am getting red colour in authorization and user tabs. Can you please try on your system and let me know.

Hi Sahad,

Go to SPRO  CRM  UI FRAMEWORK TECHNICAL ROLE DEFINITION  DEFINE AUTHORIZATION ROLE and read point 2 from the IMG documentation.

S_SERVICE- Deactivate this Service and generate the Profile. It will solve your problem.
