I have tried downloading the Crystal Reports 2016 trial which does not include the Business Object BI Platform for testing out the end user experience (web & mobile viewing of reports). When using the online chat the SAP rep confirmed that the CR 2016 trail does not include Business Objects BI Platform so they provided a link to download a trial of that product. The problem is that Business Objects BI trail is version 4.1 (14.1.1.1036) which is not compatible with Crystal Reports 2016 so you get an internal error when attempt to connect the CR designer to the BO. The online chat person said that the BO BI trial should include Crystal Reports but I do not see it anywhere in the installer options or in the BO installation directory.
