    Dear,

    • When updating an existing item we use the LineNum field.

    • When updating by adding a new line we tick the checkbox

"Add item if cant find corresponding item when updating" under the Advanced button.

After checking the above mentioned checkbox the update worked correctly

This behaviour is outlined in the attached Notes 789315,

    815551 and 888583

Wish the above information is helpful for you.

    Regards

    Hi Friend,

Please try with the SAP prepared samples in folder:

    C:\Program Files\SAP\Data Transfer Workbench\Templates\Data preparation examples\20. TestCase2_Test Data for Update function\oEmployeesInfo

Check whether a most simple update can be done.

When doing the data update by DTW import, please try your template leaving 'RecordKey' field blank.

    Kind Regards,

Finally its works. The problem was that the EmployeeID is the key of the data, so i have to use this to update the files. The problem is that this key isn´t modifiable like happens with the CardCode on Business Partners. Thank to... you were very help full.
