I know there is some procedure to load data to ODS from 2LIS_02_BX. But not sure on loading to single ODS from 3 data sources.

Can some body suggest me please.

Thanks.

yes multiple infsources can go into a single data target..

You can always try doing it on the system and see if it allows you to do it or not 😊

Yes ofcrs you can load BX, BF n UM to a same target, but don't forget to follow the procedure.

    Hope you have 'HowToInventoryNW'.

    Hi Naga,

Just wanted to hightlight one point here...

Data staging with DSO for BX extractor is not allowed. Data should directly load from extractor to Cube only once.

So you can load your BF and UM to a DSO and then to the cube but BX you cant load to a DSO, it supports only cube.

      Hi,

Inventory with ODS concept is for SNAP Shot scenario ie its Inventory with Cummulative keyfigures ie all the keyfigures in

your DSO should be made Additive. And your DSO active table acts as datasource for your final reporting inventory cube.

This is used incase of snapshot scenrios ie values are stored directly for a month end or the period you needed.

To improve the performance of inventory queries as you have all values calculated and stored in inventory cube.

If you refer the document given Akhan you can see the Snap shot scenrio which describes you how to use DSO for inventory management.

If you are looking for normal inventory management with Non Cummulative keyfigures you can directly load

BX,BF,UM to Cube or you can use Write optimized DSO to store BF and UM and move them to cube.

Hope this gives some basics on what you need.

      Thanks,

      Arun
