Error M7018 - Enter stor. location - Urgent

Dear friends,

I created a Stock Transport Order (Me21n) issuing goods from one plant (1200) to another plant (1400), then created a replenishement delivery.

When i try to PGI delivery I get error - Enter stor. location - I have checked what I can think of and it all looks good. What am I missing?

Below is the actual error message.

Enter Stor. Location

Message no. M7018

Diagnosis

You have not entered a value in field "Stor. Location" although an entry in this field is mandatory.

System Response

The system cannot continue processing.

Procedure

Enter a value in field "Stor. Location" or press F4 (possible entries).

Note:

If the storage location or batch is missing it may be possible to enter * in the field and branch into the storage location/ batch selection list. You can find out whether this function is defined for this field via the F1 help.

Goto VL02N enter delivery document number...under picking tab check u have given storage location...normaly automatic storage picking is maintained ...if it is not maintained u need to manually enter storage location of isuing plant from where u want to transfer.

Hi Pradeep,

picking tab --> storage location is maintained as storage location is given for both issuing and receiving plants in material master.

Can there be some missing customizing in SPRO?

Do you have multiple storage locations assigned to the delivering plant?

You can manually input the storage location in the picking tab of the line item in the chenage mode of the delivery (VL02N).

Hi Prasanth,

yes i do but that was not the problem.

I deleted the TO and the delivery and went back to the Stock Transport order, apparently I had missed the storage location there.

I corrected it and created new delivery, with TO and PGI.

Now I just have a problem with invoicing
