Hi Folks,
I have the following scenario which has to be addressed in time management.
My client does not have have fixed leave quotas assigned for year like EL - 8 days, CL-2 days...etc
Instead they have Medical leave and Earned leave only used for encashment at the year end and optional leave of 1 day for a year which can be used or encashed at the end of the year.
Eg:
if an employee completes 20 days he gets 1 day leave accumulated to his Earned leave quota and 1 day to his medical leave quota.
The employees are allowed to take any number of leaves throughout the year.. but howmuch ever he/she takes is unpaid leave and it is treated as LOP and deducted from salary that month (how this can be addressed).
But the EL and ML accumulated for the whole year is encashed at the end of the year.
1.Question: Leave encashment calculation is as below;
(EL)Encashment: Total leaves = No of days worked/20 * rate (Year end only Basic/30)
(ML) Encashment,Total leaves = No of days worked/20 * rate (Year end Basic/30)
Optional Leave Encashment-Encashment of One day Salary(BasicPFBonusELMED)
How can this be addressed.
Your timely help is much appreciated.
Rewards will be given to all the best answers...!!!
