How to create transaction variant?

Hi experts

We hope to create tcode like zmm02 with one variant, then zmm02 which could update the material description .

How to create new trasction code and varaint , how to enable to udpate fields?

Hi

Transaction Code is created intransaction SE93.

You can maintain the Transaction variant in SHD0

Hi

I found the classifciaton view screen no maybe is 5100. How could I create screen varaint first?

Then shd0 to assign screen varaint to transction variant?

Will sap auto select the fields on classfiction for choose and set properity?

Thanks for help. Now we plan to setup mm02 tcode for classficaiton view , one doc type and one characteristic field. We hope in zmm02, it could be changeable field. currently zmm02 could update material status field.

But when I use SHD0 , it will display our zmm02 and its variant, I click the change with processing, but it said " variants are possible only for dialog transactions" , in detail display , it doesn't check any check-box, w.content. output only ...

So could we assign classificaiton view in transaction variant to identify one characteristic field to be changable ?
