Upgrade on Solaris 10 64-bit from R/3 4.7C to ERP 6.0

Hello experts!

i'd like to upgrade R/3 4.7 on Solaris 10 x86 64-bit to ERP 6.0, but can't find the SAP Upgarde master DVD on service.sap.com for my platform.

So is it possible upgarde on Solaris 10 x86 64-bit.

After under UNIX choose your DB version and check the guide. Regards.

but on service.sap.com/downloads 51033512_11 NW 7.0 SR3 Upgrade Master Solaris SPARC 64bit there is only.

Yes - check the PAM - as said 6.40 was never supported as database server and CI on Solaris x64.

if i undenstanding you, then the SAP R/3 Enterprise 4.7 never insatlled on Solaris 10 X86 64-bit?

But i see th PAM and SAP R/3 Enterprise 4.7 support Oracle 10.2 and Solaris 10 X86 64-bit.

Yes - it's supported as application server.

If you click on the "i" button in the PAM you get:

    * For the 6.40 Kernel the Solaris x64 platform is supported only for adding ABAP application servers to existing systems. Running a 6.40 ASCS or database against a 6.40 kernel on Solaris x64 is not supported by SAP
    * Oracle Enterprise Edition only
    * At least Oracle patchset 10.2.0.2 required. 

And that is the reason why there is no upgrade possible.

4.7 did NEVER run on x86_64, just application servers are available for 6.40 based versions.

No - since the source version did never exist.
