Hi,
Can we filter a data source using a pattern i.e. I* or *I* etc. using scripts; wherein the input “I” would be specified by the user, which would either be controlled by an Input Field or a Text Box.
The idea is to find the pattern that the user keys in and filter the data source, similar to the one while we get while search for a pattern to apply a background filter – thus acting as an dynamic input rather than a static one.

Sriram - an SDK has already handled the scripting; why reinvent the wheel (script) when someone else has already done it? There is a trial; I recommend doing some cost-benefit analysis -how long for you to code, test, versus the cost/time of SDK.
