Custom Checkbox field added in standard screen is coming as disabled in IW31/IW32

Hello,

I have added the custom checkbox field in standard screen in IW32 using access key but not coming as editable even though it is input field. I checked in PBO of the screen also SCREEN-INPUT = 1 . when i make it mandatory its coming as editable but it should not be a mandatory field in my requirement.

please suggest any ideas.
