first time installing SAP R/3, what about max db? does it comes bye default? what if I don't want to use this database engine since I (for example) use oracle?
no, MAXDB does not come by default....you decide which database you will use...download the appropriate cd/dvd pacakges and follow the relevant installation guides (incl. SAPnotes)
