SAP Business One Fixed Assets Virtual Item purchase check box

Hello Community,

I notice in SAP 9.2 it is possible to create a fixed asset item that has purchase checkbox. enabled and virtual checkbox enabled. We need purchase check box so, we can purchase it. If I purchase 10 of them, since it is virtual item, 10 of the virtual items get created.

However, the created items all have Purchase Check Box enabled. The staff that is purchasing is getting confused, as they start to purchase fixed assets since it has become visible on purchase documents. They fixed assets were one time purchase only.

What is the solution and what is this behavior supposed to mean? Why should fixed asset that is purchased be visible later to others? only the virtual fixed asset was made purchase visible.

How could I made these fixed asset items not be visible to others?

I tried the fixed item check box on user defaults, that did not prevent it?
Am I missing something? Is this supposed to be purchase enabled before fixed asset purchase for virtual item prior to purchase only? such that the created items do not become purchase visible?

Any expertise is appreciated. How is this supposed to be used?
