SDK "Save document as" call

We are on BI 4.2 SP5, Linux env.

We deployed a Web Intelligence extension point using the saveDocumentAs() method to a BI4.1 SP6 environment. When the method was executed, the following exception was returned : "WSR 00999" Internal error. Per SAP this was a bug so we had to go back to 4.1 SP5 where it was working but now we upgraded to 4.2 SP4 and we are seeing the same issue and so we upgraded to 4.2 SP5 and still the same issue!!

Do any of the SDK experts out there know if this is still an issue in 4.2 SP4 and 4.2 SP5?

We had a high priority ticket open with SAP in DEC 2017 but they closed without any resolution so we reopened a new ticket early Jan and not heard since.

Hi Roopa,

can you provide the ticket number?

Also, for the SaveDocumentAs method, are you using the method described on line 222 of the following link?

Hi Daniel,

Here is the new incident: 30241 we opened on 1/18/2018 (High priority). We still don't have any updates from SAP.

SAP Cannot close incidents on their side, only customers can close incidents or they auto-close when they are in Customer Action status and customers do not reply.

Why was the incident on auto close when we had told them we are planning to upgrade to SP5 and see if SP5 had fixed the issue?

I haven't seen your Incident, but I suspect it was in "Customer Action" waiting for your report on SP5 upgrade and if it solve the issue. And then when you haven't updated it within SLA's it autoclosed.
