It selects only stock to materials that have a CC indicator maintained in storage location view.

The CC indicator can be set manually

- one by one with MM02

- en mass with MM17

- or with automatic calculation run by MIBC

Of course you need to have done customizing for the CC indicators, e.g. how often you want count materials with CC indicator A, how often B and so on.

And the most important part for the selection is the human who enters the values in the MICN selection screen.

Often just one day is entered as selection time frame, instead of a week, or do you really count daily?

Further it is dependend from the last count date. If no last count date is present, then SAP looks for the material creation date. (Details can be read in OSS note 518418 )

Thanks for quick response.

One more qurey. When I run the report MIBC output shows inv count effort per year .in this what does` counts ` is reffareing to.

Is it indicates no of counts done in past ?

Regards.

it tells you how many counts you have to do in the next one year.

If an A classified materail has to be counted 12 x a year and a B material 6 times a year, then you have already 18 counts for this 2 materials.

if you have 100 A materials and 200 B materials, then you have to perform 2400 counts in a year.
