Account requires an assignment to a CO object

I have created o new sales order and a billing from that sales order and everything seems to be OK except when I enter in VFX3 I see billing with this error:

Account 11111 requires an assignment to a CO object

Diagnosis

All given account assignment objects (order, project) are

defined as statistical.

System Response

Statistical orders or projects are ignored when FI and CO

are reconciled. You must enter a cost center, order,

project, or cost object to which the costs are posted for

CO postings.

Procedure

Enter a cost center, an order, a project, or a cost object

that is not statistical. The posting row affected is

0000001001 and the account is 11111.

Any idea? Please...

assign cost center in OKB9 for this account 11111 or enter default cost center in this 11111 cost element master data.

I have already assigned cost center in OKB9 and even in KA02 I have assigned same cost center ...

what shoul I do?

Hiya,

What kind of account is this GL? Why does the system look for a Cost assignment and are you confortable posting this cost to a CCtr?

Normally, Sales Revenues or Cost of Sales accounts are not created as CEs.

Check your GBB-VAX settings in table T030. Create an assignment for the GL account.
