How to develop an idocs from sap to non sap sys using EDI concept

HI Everyone,

I am working in IS SAP Retail sector and developing idocs from sap retail sys to AS/400 non SAP sys.for that i found inbound& oubound idoc type message types & process codes but i don't edi process

Please help me step by step procedure to develop an idocs with edi method and tell how to config with edi sub sys

hi,

What ever you have given the likes are telling about edi subsys(like ibm message broker) but i am expecting to connect sub sys what confi guration we have to do in sap
