    Hi Itty

You can take a look at the following URL for more info on SMTP/SAP Connect:

    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2005/helpdata/en/c7/92e93ac678601be10000000a11402f/frameset.htm

Check if "SAP Connect" is activated in Trx. SICF.

Ask where required your SAP basis team.

Furthermore check the steps from the OSS note 455140.

    Reward points if helpful

    Best Regards

    Manohar

    Hi,

Are you able to send any mails out. Try to send the mails from Personalized mail form. If you are not able to send mails you may not have done SMTP Configuration. There is step by step guide available for the same at the following link.

    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2005/helpdata/en/c7/92e93ac678601be10000000a11402f/frameset.htm

If you are able to send mails out through Personalized mail form then you may have to check message in the Segmentation tab of Marketing Planner. Are you getting "Job ended without errors". If yes, then you should check BP records in your target group. The BPs may not have email addresses, or are marked "Do Not use" or are locked or have Contact flagged as 2 (Contact Disallowed).

I hope you have done basic settings like setting up Sender Email addresses.

    Regards,

    Deepak
