diff b/w SXMB-MONI &SXI-MONITOR?
SXMB_MONI is the parent transaction for SXI_MONITOR
In SXMB_MONI we have the following activities
1. Monitor for Processed XML msgs
2. Processing statistics
3. Archived XML Messages (Search Using Archive)
4. Archived XML Messages (Search Using ID)
5. Job Overview
6. Persistence Layer Analysis
7. Status Monitor for Sync/Async Communication
Here we select the Monitor for Processed XML msgs and after next step we can give the date, sender
party an receiver party .... some details, later we can view the error/success messages.
In SXI_MONITOR
SXI_MONITOR directly will lead you to Monitor for processed XML messages, so in the first step we
can give the date, sender party an receiver party .... some details, later we can view the error/success messages.
But the other options
2. Processing statistics
3. Archived XML Messages (Search Using Archive)
4. Archived XML Messages (Search Using ID)
5. Job Overview
6. Persistence Layer Analysis
7. Status Monitor for Sync/Async Communication
are not available in the SXI_MONITOR.

Hi,
SXI_monitor directly leads to the message monitoring for the IS, which is part of the SXMB_MONI.
SXMB_MONI contains some functions viz monitoring for Bridging, Archived Msgs, Job overview, persistence layer analysis.
REWARD POINTS IF IT IS HELPFUL**********
Thanks,
Madhu

Hi,
Both are same just name is different. Both returns the same values.
SXMB_MONI is area menu which will contain all multiple transactions pertaining to monitoring.
SXMB_MONI contains some functions viz monitoring for Bridging, Archived Msgs, Job overview, persistence layer analysis.
SXI_monitor directly leads to the message monitoring for the IS, which is part of the SXMB_MONI.
SXI_MONITOR directly executes the monitoring report.
Also
the transaction SXMB_MONI is for Integration Engine Monitoring (SXMB_MONI) and the system displays the screen Integration Engine: Monitoring
With this we can
Monitor the processing of XML messages and message packages
Check message throughput
Execute error and status tracking
And also
If the user has the role of authorization
Monitoring is used to monitor the processing of XML messages, as well as to track message errors and statutes. Message throughput can also be monitored.
Monitoring initially helps the system administrator to monitor their system and at the same time it is used by the application as a processing monitor.
Monitoring is protected by the authorization objects S_XMB_DSP and S_XMB_AUTH. Displaying the contents of the messages is individually controlled. The system default only enables XML messages in the current client to be displayed, unless the user has administrator status ( S_XMB_ADM).
The authorizations can be derivations of the roll SAP_XI_MONITOR
With SXI_MONITOR you can have only monitor for the processed XML Messages.
The exact need is we can have different authorisations to users . we can assign only SXI_MONITOR or if we want to give authorisation to view above all then give the TA SXMB_MONITOR.
