graphical screen painter with VPN connexion

Hi,

I am not getting Graphical Screen Painter when selecting Layout for a screen.

i use sapgui 6.4 and Utilities->Settings in se51 is OK + in C:\Program Files\SAP\FrontEnd\SAPgui

when i click gneux.exe it's OK it show me graphical screen painter .

+ i have to use VPN client to connect to SAP server.

I am not getting Graphical Screen Painter when selecting Layout for a screen.

can you help me.

Hi,

I think you need to install some patches , so that it works properly and shows you screen painter layout.

Contact your network support,they will help you.

Hi yassine,

hope you have acces to sap marketplace at service.sap.com. Check SAP Software Distribution Center, downloads, look for SAP GUI FOR WINDOWS 7.10 CORE.

Hi yassine82,

probably this is not because of VPN but result of incomplete SAPGUI installation. Experience shows that you are better off doing a complete installation with all components offered even if you think you do not need them. So mark everything including BIW CRM and what ever addons.

It will cost you (not much) additional disk space but it works.

And if you start to do it: Take SAPGUI 7.10 as it is fully downward compatible and will last longer until you have to change anything.
