unbalanced hierarchy isn't working - nodes won't get assigned

Hi there,

I got an issue with an unbalanced hierarchy, which looks like that:

InfoObject (Description)

R_M000004 (Division)

¦----R_M000003 (Serviceline)

¦----

-

R_M000001 (SLA)

¦----

-

R_M000080 (subordinated SLA)

This hierarchy is part of the InfoObject R_M000080.

Why is this hierarchy unbalanced?

Not every SLA (R_M000001) has an subordinated SLA (R_M000080).

As long as there is a subordinated SLA, everything works out fine in the BEx Query, but as soon as a SLA (R_M000001) doesn't have a subordinated SLA (R_M000080), this SLA isn't displayed one level higher in the hierarchy-structure as supposed but under the node "not assigned".

What's wrong here - why isn't this working?

You don't happen to know a solution for this problem? 😉

thanks!

Benjamin
