Account type M and G/L account with open item management not permitted

HI,

While doing GR I had the error "Acct. 204299 for trans./event key BSX, postable directly" then I tried the transaction : FS00 in the tab,Create/Bank/Interest flag the Check box Post automatically only. then the error was solved, but now Im getting the following error "Account type M and G/L account with open item management not permitted" Please Help me out.

Hello,

Are you trying tangible asset acquisition through down payment transaction ???

If so maintain config settings in OBYR. For account type "K" give SGL Ind. "M"

Use OBA7 go to particular document type that is for asset accounting and here u can select the account type M in account allowed..

it will solve ur problem
