Hello Experts,

We are performing homogeneous OS migration from RH Linux 5.7 to RH Linux 6.11 & Oracle 11.2.0.4 to Oracle 12.1.0.2 for NW 7.3 Portal.

We are using SWPM 1.0 SP17

1. Export of the system source system is done.

2. Successfully installed SCS instance (Distributed installation).

3. Created symbolic link for oracle binaries (Shared oracle home)

4. Now in Database instance installation, while giving input for 'oracle version = 121 ' & 'oracle client = 121/112'(we have tried using both clients) sapinst stops & gives following error .Please suggest.

The step CommonDialogUnixSchema with step key |NW_Java_DB|ind|ind|ind|ind|0|0|NW_CreateDBandLoad|ind|ind|ind|ind|createdbandload|0|NW_CreateDB|ind|ind|ind|ind|createdb|0|NW_OraDBCheck|ind|ind|ind|ind|ora|0|NW_OraDBMain|ind|ind|ind|ind|main|0|NW_OraCommonDiaSrv|ind|ind|ind|ind|dia|0|CommonDialogUnixSchema was executed with status ERROR ( Last error reported by the step: TypeError: oracom.isMT is not a function (in script NW_Java_DB|ind|ind|ind|ind, line 142804: ???)).

SAPInst calls the LogInquirer because of an error in execution of step |NW_Java_DB|ind|ind|ind|ind|0|0|NW_CreateDBandLoad|ind|ind|ind|ind|createdbandload|0|NW_CreateDB|ind|ind|ind|ind|createdb|0|NW_OraDBCheck|ind|ind|ind|ind|ora|0|NW_OraDBMain|ind|ind|ind|ind|main|0|NW_OraCommonDiaSrv|ind|ind|ind|ind|dia|0|CommonDialogUnixSchema.

You can now: </p> <ul> <li> Choose <i>Retry</i><br>to repeat the current step. </li> <li> Choose <i>Log Files</i><br>to get more information about the error. </li> <li> Stop the option and continue later. </li> </ul> <p> Log files are written to /sapcd/VMNUG/EP/EPD/EPDDB/sapinst_instdir/NW730/ORA/COPY/SYSTEM/DISTRIBUTED/AS-JAVA/DB. </p> </body></html>
