Hello everyone,
I need your help. I am working in a SUS implementation (for SRM 5.0). I have been checking about the definition of the organizational plan in SUS and I have doubts.
I checked that is essential the vendor organization in transaction PPOCV_BBP, could you tell me if I have to define the same in SRM an SUS??
Also, I checked and It is necessary define purchasing organization (PPOMA_BBP) and I want to know if I need to define all the purchasing organization from SRM
Thanks,
Ivan
Hi Khan,
Let me understand. I have 2 servers, one for SRM and other for SUS (also, I am using extended classic scenario) . In SRM I only have to define the organizational structure for purchasing organization (PPOCA_BBP and PPOMA_BBP), and the other hand, in SUS I only have to define the organizational structure for vendor groups (PPOCV_BBP and PPOMV_BBP).
Is it correct??
Thanks,
Ivá

If you look at the names of the components of SRM , you can realise what khan says easily.
SRM is a broad term and comprises further components
EBP Enterprise Buyer Professional
SUS Supplier self services &
ROS Registration of suppliers
All these functionalities or software components are bundled in SRM server
so technically can be bundled on client
but not advised by SAP for security reasons
Now the purchasing client (or server ) is EBP
responcible for purchasing
so should have the purchasing organisation and depts
and internal users with necessary attributes.
SUS client (or server) is for vendor data
so should have vendor root node with necessary attributes.
Hope it helps

hi,
what ever you have done is correct.
there is no use of ppoma_bbp in SUS because --> there is no purchasing done on the supplier side....
only need is to have vendor group --> and all the vendors replicated from SRM will be attached to this vendor group.
the vendor group is specified in the SPRO settings on THE SUS SIDE...
Thanks Khan and Dinesh for all.

Thanks Khan and Dinesh,
I just need to clarify one more thing.
Khan said about the replication of vendor from SRM to SUS, so, I understand that I need the vendor groups in SRM also, because I will have vendors in both sides (in SRM and SUS).
Is this correct?
Thanks
Ivan

it is required to create vendor groups only in SUS , it is not required in SRM system.
defining purchasing organizations is not required in the SUS system..
