IT0003 - earl. recalc date

Hello All,

I have a question regarding earliest reclac date in IT 0003.

In pt60 to run time eval we give 2 dates i.e Time eval. from and to dates. While running time eval are the earl. recalculation date or pdc date taken into consideration?

So is there anything like earl. recalc date being picked up for the first time time eval is run (i.e when an perosn is hired) and pdc date being picked up there after?

Is IT0003 looked during time evaluation?

Thanks in advance,

Shruti.

    Hi,

earliest retro date specifies the earliest date that can over be evaluated for that person.

This date is also check when users try to record data in the past.

E.g. earliest retro date is 01-01-2007. If user tries to record an absence on December 25, 2006, user will not be able to save the rabsence as it precedes the earliest retro date.

Time Evaluation can never be processed before this date.

PDC - date stores the date which should be the first date to be evaluated.

E.g PDC-date currently is Jan. 15, 2007. If user records an absence for Jan. 7, 2007, PDC date will be set to Jan. 7 2007 as this date needs to be re-evaluated due to recording of the absence.

If none of the dates in PT60 is recorded, SAP will automatically takes this date into account.

    Wilfred.

      1. If you do not give any start date while executing pt 60. The system will check the employee hire date and start from that date.

      2. Once you run time evaluation upto 30.06.2007 (live). When you are doing the time evalution next time and if you have not given start date (blank) the system automatically picks up the date as 01.07.2007 because the time evaluation for that employee already been done.

If you want the system to recalculate the from past date, you have to give start date 01.06.2007 to end date.

      I think this is clear.

      Please reward points.

      Regards

      Venu
